The True Definition of Freedom (and a fun video) :)

Hi ,

I'm just coming off of a 5 1/2 day weekend...

I spent Memorial Day weekend with friends and family,

then ran a 10K race (the BolderBOULDER) with my

7-year-old daughter, Olivia, on Monday (Memorial Day).

Afterwards, I took my kids to the Boulder Creek Festival

(a huge 4-day festival that happens every year on Memorial Day

weekend), where we stayed up late dancing to great bands,

hoola hooping, riding rides, shopping, eating yummy food, and

swimming in the Boulder Creek.

Then Tuesday (yesterday) was my birthday and we celebrated

again with friends and family and the

fun just kept going on and on...

This was literally one of the best weekends of my life.

As you're probably aware, the significance of Memorial Day is the celebration of the freedom we get to enjoy in the USA, thanks to all of our veterans who have fought to defend our wonderful country.
