So, by now you know how passionate I am about content marketing.
Providing value for my audience is what I love to do... and it's the primary way I have built my business over the years.
While I've been focused on mostly YouTube and blogging, I'm always ready and willing to pivot based on what's happening in the world of technology.
And I love learning new skills. :)
So you probably know by now that short form video (videos under 60 seconds) are what many of the platforms are favoring these days (YouTube has even gotten on board with it's 'Shorts' feed).
There are short form video editors available on many platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts)... so I've tried all of them and TikTok is, by far, my favorite. I just find it easiest to use, and it has the most features.
The amazing thing is that, once you create a great piece of content in the form of a short form video, it's SUPER simple to repurpose it on several platforms so that you can get the most bang for your buck.
I mean, if you are taking the time to create the content, you want to have it seen by as many people as possible, right?
My method is to create everything on TikTok first and then share my videos to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, my Instagram stories, my Facebook stories, and I also share them in my Facebook group, my Facebook business page, and my Facebook profile.
This way I'm getting it in front of my audience members that may not be on TikTok.
Something to keep in mind is that many of the platforms dislike it if you post a video with a watermark on it from another platform...
And while there are apps and websites that allow you to remove the TikTok watermark pretty easily, I have found them a bit clunky (like my audio doesn't always sync up with my mouth after I remove the watermark, and then I have to edit my video again to fix it, for example).
Plus, you lose a bit of the quality of your video when you use these websites and apps.
So I started doing it another way... where I can save my TikTok video BEFORE it has the watermark on it.
This, to me, is WAY easier, and then I'm left with the raw unwatermarked video saved to the camera roll on my phone to make it really easy to post it on all of the other platforms without the TikTok branding on it.
I just shot a quick video to show you how I do it, in case you want to try this way for yourself.
