Hey, Amy here.
I saw a post last night by one of my dear team members in my home based business, Patricia.
I love it so much, and here's why.
I know that starting a home-based business can feel a bit daunting or overwhelming for someone who has never done it before.
There are a few things we need to do to get set up... and nothing breaks my heart more than watching people give up before they even give themselves a chance to get started.
Here's the reality....
Yes, there are certain steps required to start a home based business in affiliate marketing.
Things like:
- setting up an autoresponder account
- creating a capture page where you can start to collect leads
- attending live coaching webinars to get the support you need along the way
- asking questions (even if you think they are silly), so that you can get yourself 'unstuck' as fast as possible when an obstacle presents itself...
BUT, think about this.
If you were to start any other type of business (brick-and-mortar, building your own courses, or pretty much anything else), there would be a lot more steps and, in many cases, you would also have to raise the capital required to get started.
Starting a business in affiliate marketing is simple in comparison to other business models.
And another reality is this:
You only have to get it set up once, and then you will be ready to market it (that's the fun part)...
...and you will have a business that is ready to generate you a RESIDUAL income for life.
Going through a few setup steps really is a small price to pay when you think about it.
It's SO worth it.
Anyway, here's what Patricia posted last night...
She does such a good job of illustrating what are likely to be the thoughts of so many people when they are new and trying to get their businesses set up.
I wanted to share this in case you are having similar thoughts.
