I'm over a month into my road trip now and I've been thinking a lot about a lot of things...
One of the things I've been contemplating constantly lately is how grateful I am to have this type of freedom in my life.
To be able to pick up and go out on the road with my dog and my laptop and my guitar, to spend time with some of the people who matter most to me, and to make new friends along the way, too.
Here's the thing...
Some people advertise the home based business industry as a place to create exorbitant amount of money so that you can buy things like fancy cars and mansions.
For me, those aren't the things that matter to me in my life.
For me, I just wanted to be able to NOT go to a job and to be able to go where I want, when I want, and to spend time with the people I want to spend time with, whenever I choose to.
I wanted to be able to do it without employees or managing big teams or having offices or lots of overhead.
I just wanted to be free. That's all.
And, when I set out on this road trip journey over a month ago, I knew I could take my work with with me and continue to build my business from the road.
And I have...
BUT- what I've also discovered is that what's WAY more important to me while I've been traveling is to spend quality time with the people I'm with and to have some amazing experiences and adventures along the way.
And to be able to do that without any guilt that I 'should be' working.
It's been an amazing time to see what my residual income actually provides in my life, and I've been making consistent sales, too... just by having lots of evergreen content out on the internet that's searchable.
For example, just since yesterday, I have gotten 11 sale notifications from my main affiliate program (here are 10 of them... the rest are cut off of my screen). :)
