This is my moment

Hey, Amy here.

I just had one of my best friends in town from Colorado.

Her and her daughter came for Labor Day weekend last year, and they decided to come again... so they were here from Thursday - Monday and we had a great time.

She hadn't booked the trip ahead of time... it was kind of a last minute thing... because we were talking one night while I was walking on the beach and I was walking by a sea turtle nest.

She said that was on her bucket list for her and her daughter- to see sea turtles hatch.

She asked me if I thought they would see them hatch if she booked a last minute plane ticket for Labor Day weekend.

I told her it's possible but hard to plan ahead for. And they often hatch in the middle of the night, which might be hard for her 6-year-old daughter.

My friend went ahead and booked the plane ticket anyway... they wanted to come have a weekend at the beach regardless of whether or not they got to see the turtles.

But when she picked her daughter up at school the day before they flew out, her daughter was telling her teacher and all of her friends that she was going to see the sea turtles hatch.

The teacher said,

"Don't be so sure. That's not something you can really plan for, and it's a hard thing to see."

I hosted the Grow Rich Mastermind this morning, and I shared the whole story about what happened while they were here.

Hint: It was totally magical, proof that God is good and that we are surrounded by miracles.

It was also a great example and living proof of the power of intention.

My favorite part of the story if when 6-year-old Haven exclaimed (as we were walking over to see the turtles hatch),

"This is my moment!"

I also shared some of the parallels between the turtles' lives and the way we go about building our businesses... I always love looking for the lessons that Mother Nature provides for us every day.

On the last 30 minutes of the call we heard from some amazing people who chimed in on the mastermind portion of the call which is always my favorite part.
