That's what building a business of any kind is all about, right?
Each week, all we have to do is to get in front of our audience, share valuable content with them and start a conversation.
We can all do this.
Building an email list is a big key, and it's been a big part of the equation for me since the beginning... and this is something we can do by providing consistent value in the marketplace.
You can build a following on social media too, but you own your email list
which makes it a much bigger asset in your business.
Your social media accounts are not yours... they can get shut down or hacked... not to mention, it's much harder to get in front of your people on social media because there are algorithms involved that we don't have control over and which are changing all the time.
AND it's very powerful when someone opts in and gives you permission to show up in their inbox. This is a totally different type of relationship.
