This Week's Live Training I jumped on live yesterday to share from my heart, some profound lessons that I learned by participating on the 'street team' during Rachel Pedersen's book launch.
These lessons will help you regardless of what type of business you have.
I went live for about 20 minutes and shared some of my biggest takeaways from this launch, but here's the bottom line:
When you are vulnerable and transparent, people will fall in love with you.
In fact, they will fall so in love with you that they will carry you through your own book launch that you can't personally attend (for mental health issues
that you were honest with your audience about).
This is exactly
what I just experienced- it happened for Rachel Pedersen, and it was such an incredible thing to witness.
She's an amazing example of how, when you keep it real, people will relate to you and love you, for who you really are.
When you attempt to be like someone else, they won't- I mean, how could they love you if they don't actually know you?
I know I talk about this stuff all the time, but this book launch took it all to the next level for me, so I wanted to share with
you what I learned.
Be forewarned, I
was house sitting and didn't have my microphone with me so the audio is not the best... but I wasn't gonna let that stop me from getting this important message to you (and I talk more about things like this in the livestream, too).

Soul Pay & The Oak Benefactor Ring It's been an interesting couple of weeks for me. As you may know, I hit a huge milestone/goal in my business recently and earned the Oak Benefactor ring inside of the Home Business Academy. It is, as it states here, the highest honor in the HBA affiliate program. It's also the highest honor that I have achieved in my
lifetime. Here's why:
“Some of us are looking for more than a job or a business. We're looking for a calling. We want a place that's big enough for our spirits."
This pretty mush
sums it up.
And one of the contribution requirements is that your production must be at the point where you have personally contributed at least 5000 days worth of meals to starving children.
I'm still reeling at the fact that I actually personally have
produced enough sales in my business to contribute over 5000 days worth of meals to starving children. I keep thinking, "I did that?!?! Little old me?!?!" I also haven't been able to stop crying since I hit this
goal...partially because I'm still in awe about it... and largely because of some of the most heartfelt messages that myself and the company have been receiving (we like to call this soul pay). The most amazing thing about the messages are that, not only are they some of the nicest and most beautiful messages I have ever received, but what's even better is seeing
the flood gates open for people who, because they watched me do it, now believe that they can. too. And some have been given a new level of purpose- to feed more children. Here are a couple of examples of the messages I'm
talking about. This was a comment I received on one of my YouTube videos:
Woah.... a whole new reason to get up in the morning. Crazy, right?
And here's one that the founders of the company received: It's incredible. Soooo many lives are being changed... and I'm so unbelievably humbled to be a part of this.
There are so many more examples... too many to give you in this email. And the most incredible thing about all of it is that we are just barely getting started.
