Hey, Amy here.
I hope you have had a beautiful week and weekend.
I have a had a great week... I got to spend lots of time with some of my favorite people... my dear friends and former neighbors from Colorado.
They are one of my favorite families on the planet, and they come here every other year for their family reunion with about 20 people... and they are just the funnest group of people to hang out with.
We played lots of beach games... including one that has become my new favorite game called Kubb,,, have you heard of it? SO fun!
Anyway, it was a fun filled week. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you I tried Contra dancing for the first time, too. I went with another friend of mine and I had a blast and got to meet a whole community of amazing people. :)
Here's a pic of me and Emily from the night we went to Squigley's... it's a famous ice cream parlor here and it's part of their family tradition to go every time they are here for their reunion.
If you ever come to Carolina Beach, I recommend it! I don't even eat ice cream... but its just a fun atmosphere and they have an amazing gift shop upstairs too.

This Week on YouTube
I didn't do any official training on YouTube this week, but I did publish a music video on YouTube and Facebook for one of my dear friend's birthday.
As you know, I like to share other aspects of myself and my life with you,,, not just all business all the time. :)
Music is a passion of mine and I publish a video every once in a while when I'm inspired to.
This song speaks to me on so many levels, and it was also a request from my friend Barry so I recorded it for him for his birthday.
You may know the song, it's called Bittersweet Symphony... and it speaks about the bittersweet symphony that life is, which I think we can all relate to.
This Week on the Podcast
In this episode, I shared Why I Don’t Believe in Niching Down or Pleasing the Algorithm.
This may be a bit of a controversial topic for some people, but I’m okay with that.
In my community, we get together every day to mastermind about our marketing strategies and many of us are getting great results with short form video right now (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts).
Because these short form videos are all the rage right now, it’s literally easier than ever to create content and to have it pushed out to the people who you can help with your work.
But one thing I see people doing constantly, is creating content simply to manipulate the algorithm, rather than creating content that comes from your heart and allows your audience to get to know you and what you stand for on a deeper level, and ultimately content that will move the needle for your audience members.
So, in this episode, I talk about my take on creating more meaningful content, rather than just creating stuff in an attempt to please the algorithm.
I also shared why I don’t believe in niching down (unless it feels in alignment for you)… and why I’ve always come from the school of thought that the best way to build a loyal following online is to share yourself fully.
