One of the things I hear people say a lot is that they don't know what they need to do to provide value to their audience on a daily basis... so I wanted to share my perspective on this for a minute.
So many of us are probably asking ourselves things like,
"Who do I need to be to create success?"
and
"How can I condition myself for success?"
And we read great books, or listen to podcasts or whatever we do to grow into that
person.
Anyway, these are great questions to ask, but these questions are just about us, right?
So another key piece is to be asking questions like,
"How can I show up and be of
service?"
"How can I give?"
"How can I help?"
In asking questions like this, it will totally shift the energy of where you are coming from and your whole
perspective.
This is a small shift but it makes a huge difference.
Remember => As entrepreneurs, our main job is to be of service to others.
If you can be of service and add value to enough people, and help and be of use in some way, you will inevitably be extremely successful yourself.
As Zig Ziglar said,
"You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want."
It takes courage to show up and be useful and be helpful in this world, and to believe that we have what it takes to be useful.
So we do the personal growth work on ourselves to gain the belief that we can actually help others,
that we have what it takes to make a difference for others...
... and then the actions we take in our business become about helping others.
Before you sit down to start your work, you can ask yourself these
questions:
How can I be of service?
How can I help others?
What can I give?
What can I
do?
Maybe make a list of ways you can help.
Immerse yourself in what you can do to be of more service.
What can you do to add value to your audience or your potential audience?
What can you do to go above and beyond?
What have you learned today that you can teach to someone else?
If you ask yourself these questions every day, you will start to know what to do. Ideas will just come
to you, opportunities to serve will present themselves.
I promise you this.
When you open yourself up to be of service, you will literally never run out of content ideas or ideas for ways that you can help or value that you can provide
for your audience.
You will have more ideas than you can possibly implement in your lifetime.
