Hey, Amy here.
Are you learning things that could potentially benefit your target audience, but keeping it all to yourself because you don't think you are qualified enough to share it or teach it?
If so, I just wanted to shed some light on this
because this is one of the biggest mistakes we make...
We confuse inexperience with being unqualified.
Many people don't want to share about things they are currently learning because it
makes them feel like an imposter.
You've heard of imposter syndrome, right?
We say things to ourselves like,
"Who am I to teach this (or to say this or to share
this or to do this)?"
But here's a different way to look at it.
If you are sharing things that you are currently learning, it makes you incredibly qualified and credible... because you are actually doing it yourself
RIGHT NOW- while holding the space for others at the same time.
You are holding the torch and shining the light to help others to find their way... and you are in the trenches with them.
You are taking one for the team,
and then you are lifting up the team.
This is a powerful way to provide value for your audience, and to build a loyal following of people who are one step behind you, who love you and have so much respect for you, and who will keep looking to you for help with the next step.
It's a way to serve your audience at the highest level... not to mention you will NEVER run out of content ideas as long as you are constantly learning new things (which we all should be). :)
I hosted the Grow Rich mastermind call today and I went into more detail about this
topic.
