Hey, Amy here.
In order to move forward in our lives, we have to give up the thoughts and self inflicted limitations that are no longer serving us.
I mean, I guess we don't have to... but, if we don't, moving forward
becomes a whole lot harder.
"Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they're yours." - Richard Bach
We tend to get addicted to the thoughts that don't serve us.
We get addicted to the thoughts that we can never achieve the success that we desire, or we compare ourselves to someone else and get addicted to feeling less than.
We do it because it's comfortable.
And I know in our minds that sounds weird,
because it definitely doesn't feel comfortable when we are in it, but it's comfortable because it's what we are used to.
It's our go-to place.
And sometimes even if we start to have a little success, we often end up self sabotaging and diving back into the limitations because it's
comfortable there.
Achieving the things we want in life (all areas of life) becomes a whole lot easier when we are willing to let go of the thoughts and limitations that are holding us back.
Letting go can be hard.
We have so many justifications and reasons for why things won't work out the way we want them to. And the reasons and justifications are valid. They are legit.
So letting that all go can be hard.
But, once we do, anything is possible.
