Weekend Recap (orientation, retreat, and life-saving teachers)

I hope you are having a beautiful weekend.

It's rainy here and we are just settling back in after taking a little trip this week to a retreat center in South Carolina.

It was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and needed. :)

I went with a dear friend of mine... we did some meditating, row boating, a long beach walk (the center had its own private stretch of beach), and hanging out in the most amazing library ever... full of every type of spiritual book you could possibly imagine. I could literally live in there (it's right on the lake, too, with huge windows looking out over the lake... I loved it there!).

This Week on the Podcast

One of my favorite sayings (that holds very true to me and has throughout my lifetime) is:

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

Right now, I have 2 very profound situations going on that are a perfect example of this.

One is an example of how sometimes, even though we may have already heard something or learned something or read something, that when we hear it or read it or learn it again, it teaches us something new (because we are always in a new place in our lives).

The second is an example of how things sometimes show up in the exact time that we need them, to get us through the challenges we are having.

OR, maybe he challenges are given to us so that we can be directed to where we need to go and what we need to learn.

I have a book that showed up in my life at the exact time that I needed it… it seriously saved me.

I hosted the Grow Rich mastermind call earlier this week and I went into more detail about this story and this topic.

I shared some of my specific examples as well as a message I received from my dear friend, Craig, about how he believes that maybe he was challenged with cancer just so that his teacher could appear.

As soon as the call ended, I left town on a retreat and didn’t have a chance to share the 24 hour replay with everyone…

And I’ve been getting a bunch of positive feedback about that call, so I decided to put it up on my podcast so that you could listen in, in case you missed it.
