Hey, Amy here.
If you've been following me for a while, you probably have an idea about how much I love music.
And I think most of us do...
Because music is a spiritual experience, and something that brings us together with people who resonate with a similar message.
I was listening to a podcast yesterday with one of my mentors, Ram Dass... who is no longer here but I still love listening to his podcast.
He was talking about how the Grateful Dead's music is a deep profound ritual- one of the longest lasting new religions in this society. He said it gives people a ritual in which it is safe for them to touch certain kinds of feelings inside themselves.
This is what music does.
An as a huge fan of the Grateful Dead, I definitely agree. :)
I hosted the Grow Rich mastermind this morning and I spoke about how musicians are the true prophets...
And how, when we are bold enough to live in a way that is a true representation of who we are, it has the ability to impact so many people.
I watched the David Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream yesterday for the second time. He was such a
great example of this.
And we can all really learn so much from each other if we are open minded enough to pay attention and to get to know one another.
