Hey, Amy here.
About a year ago, I was staying with my dear friend Kelly, and I said something negative about myself, outloud, to her.
Her response was,
"I wish you could see yourself the way other people see you."
And her words have stuck with me. They have been in my head every day since then.
I am my own worst critic... and I believe it's that way for all of us.
Sometimes I get messages from people thanking me for something or telling me that I helped them in some way and I think,
"Is that me they're
talking about? I did that?"
And then her words come back into my head.
The only way we can really see how valuable we are is when we get out of our own way and walk our walk and put
ourselves out there... warts and all.
If we hide out afraid we might be seen, or ashamed of who we are in some way, or worried that we are not good enough in some way, or that we're not successful enough yet to possibly make a difference for anyone else...
...if we don't put ourselves out there, we can't possibly help anyone.
In order for others to really see us, we have to be willing to let ourselves be seen.
I hosted the Grow Rich mastermind this morning and I spoke more on this topic.
I also shared some examples of people in my life who showed up to be seen this week and made a huge impact on me and others...
