Hey, Amy here.
We all want to be seen... and loved and to feel like we're not going through things alone.
Being around Michael Franti at his show the other night was a great reminder of how far we can go with that... he
really sees people at a different level than I've ever experienced before.
We really can make the world a better place when we get out of our way and focus on seeing others, really seeing them, and helping them in whatever way we can.
In life and in business too.
During the concert the other night I was at one point moved so much and started to cry. My friend held me and I sobbed, like a baby.
Michael came over and grabbed us and brought to the platform and hugged us as he sang one of his amazing
new songs that is so touching- 'Close Your Eyes (Hands Up)'.
When we were talking to him after the show my friend said to him,
"She really needed to cry."
He looked at me and said,
"It's the fastest way to get happy."
It's so true... and I definitely resist it most of the
time.
Grief is beautiful wild beast- and sometimes it comes when we least expect it.
This is us with Michael after the show. I love him so much.
