If you’re wondering why you’re not seeing the success
you wish you were seeing in your business right now, I’ll tell you…
It’s because you’re not giving things sufficient time.We live in an instant gratification society where everyone expects instant results.
The internet has a way to make us believe we should be further ahead than we are.
And it leads us to believe that if we haven't made at least 6 figures in our first year there's something wrong with us.
And, because of that, we start to second guess
ourselves.
And then we desperately join a new business yet again hoping it will be the one that finally generates results for us.
But that’s kind of like planting a seed in fertile soil... then giving it a few days and not seeing it grow... so we plant another seed.
And then we continue to repeat that process... planting seed after seed...
But we don’t have time to water them all… so none of them end up growing or producing any fruit.
When it comes to
being a home based business owner, there are lots of distractions and so many shiny objects. No doubt about it.
But, I promise you, everything gets easier when you tune out the noise online and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and focus on your one seed.
Take the time to nourish it, love it, and give it the time it needs to grow strong roots and produce the fruit that will nourish you in return.
(And, once that happens, you can plant another seed if you
want to.)
THIS is why my business holds strong... because it has roots.Does yours? (Be honest with yourself here).
If not, it may just be that you haven't found something that's fully in alignment with you yet...
Something that feels like a full body yes every single day that you get to be a part of it...
Something that nourishes you, even during the time that you are waiting for your seed to grow...
Something that even feels like a
chosen family.
Because I can pretty much guarantee that shiny objects don't really look so shiny anymore once you've found that perfect fit.
This is mine, in case you're wondering, or looking for a perfect place to start growing some roots.
I've been
here for 5 and a half
years and love it more every single day.
And maybe you've already found a place that feels like home.
Regardless of what business you choose, remember that it will thank you, and nourish you, if you take the time to build your foundation and nourish it and give it the attention and love that it deserves.
And I promise you that is so much easier than reinventing the wheel every month or two. I promise.
Hope this helps and love you
tons,
Amy
