I am also just 2 days away from my trip to Mexico with 3 of my friends.

We are all getting super excited, and sending each other pictures as we've been starting to pack, of some of the fun things we are bringing.

This trip is gonna be epic.... so be sure and look out for some updates on social media while I'm away.

And just know that I'll be taking a break from my business for a week for the most part, too... so if you don't hear from me much, that's why. It's because I'm probably surfing or riding a horse or hiking to an ancient cave. Lol. (These are, btw, all things I will be doing while I'm there. Woohoo!)

Affiliate marketing is a super popular business model these days. In fact, even some of the biggest brands known to man (Amazon, Walmart, etc) have affiliate programs.
 

The reason is that it’s much less of a gamble to have the people that already own, use, and love your products and services to be the ones telling others about them, rather than throwing your advertising dollars into ads that may or may not convert to sales. 

The amazing thing about having affiliates sell for you is that you don’t spend any money on advertising until AFTER the sale is made (that’s when the referring affiliate would be paid their commission), rather than spending the money up front and hoping to get a solid return on investment.

This Week's Exclusive Training

I also shared a quick marketing tip that was inspired by something that came in one of my recent Amazon packages... a good reminder about the importance of always working on building your email list!

A Sneak Peek Into Our Community & Back Office

A few weeks ago, we pulled back the curtain for guests on one of our Saturday new member orientation sessions... so that people who are not members inside of the Home Business Academy yet could come hang out with us and see what we're all about.

This was one of the best overviews of the Home Business Academy yet... my dear friend Paul (who is also one of the founders of the HBA) did a really great explanation about how residual income works and why it matters and how we help people create freedom here inside of our community.

He also asked if anyone wanted to share about their experience in the Home Business Academy, and a few people came out and shared off the cuff about what its been like here since they've joined.

I HIGHLY recommend watching the replay if you are curious AT ALL about what we have to offer here.

Paul's story in the beginning about his grandparents was so good, too... it really does a great job of illustrating why it's so important to him to be a pillar for people in his life, the way his grandparents were for him.

I even reached out to him after the call to tell him how I loved that story so much because, for me, he is the greatest example of a pillar that I have ever known. I even teared up as I was speaking about it to him.

It's true... and this is a very important thing to consider if you are wanting to build residual income, because in order for the income to keep coming in for many many years to come there needs to be a great deal of stability.

And stability is certainly one of the things we have in HBA that I am so grateful for and don't take for granted... because it's not very common in the home business industry (which is why Mike and Paul started this company in the first place).
