Weekend Recap (storm update, upcoming mountain retreat, and why you haven't heard from me)

Hey, Amy here.

I hope you are having a beautiful weekend.

So much has changed since my last email, it's kind of insane.

We had a storm here in Carolina Beach, NC that they are calling the '1000 year flood'. We got over 20 inches of rain in a day, and it has been devastating for our town, and for me.

I made a short video about it with some clips that you can see here if you are interested.

I've had floods at my house before during hurricane season, but this one takes the cake, big time.

I have spent the whole week cleaning up and throwing away my belongings and attempting to dry out. It's been a huge process.

I am trying to find the silver lining and realizing that it's time for a change. It's a lot to digest, and I'm exhausted from the week I've had... and I do believe that sometimes the storms in our lives come to show us the way.

This one has definitely given me a sense of clarity that I didn't have before about some things in my life. It has shaken me to my core.

I almost didn't send this email tonight because I wasn't able to create any new content this week, and I don't have much in the way of value to share with you right now.

But I decided that you deserved to know where I've been since I just went missing in action.

So now you know. :)

I really need to get away after this to do some contemplation and have some downtime which I won't have here because there's too much work to do on my house still... so I will be headed to the mountains in a few days.

Hopefully the time away will help me to clear my head and gather my thoughts and help me get back on track.

Although I don't have any new training for you this week, I will say that I am so ridiculously grateful that I have residual income right now. I honesty don't know where I'd be without it.

And I'm so grateful to have the freedom to go to the mountains on a dime to clear my head. I will just bring my laptop and work from there. I'm so looking forward to the change of scenery, and climate.

If you feel like sending me some good energy and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, I will graciously receive it all.
