Hi, Amy here.
I'm in an Edgar Cayce study group... with a group of 4 other women. Some of the most amazing women I've ever known. It's been amazing to have them in my life and to have the opportunity to study his work together. It's been life changing.
One
of the women gives us these little cute yellow pamphlets from time to time, she gets them in the mail through something that she's subscribed to through Catherine Ponder's Unity Church Worldwide, and they each have different passages on them from Catherine Ponder.
I love them so much, they always help me and make a difference for me. So I decided I wanted to read a book of hers.
I asked my friend what book to get and she said all of her books are great and recommended starting with the Dynamic Laws of Prosperity, which is a super popular one so you may be familiar with it.
It's an older book (it was written about 62 years ago)... and it came about because back in 1958, when America was in a recession, members of Catherine Ponder's Unity Church congregation were asking her for guidance on how to get through it. She
started giving prosperity classes, teaching that prosperity was first and foremost a state of mind and that a mindset of lack could only manifest negative results.
And then she wrote the book which was first published in 1962. So I've been reading it.
And it's so good. And so fun to read.
Another favorite of mine is The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn, and this book is similar in the sense that it has a ton of really powerful affirmations in it regarding prosperity in all areas of life (health, relationships, money, etc.) and it has a ton of stories about people who have changed their mindset using these affirmations and what came about because of it.
I've been writing my favorite
ones in my journal and using them every day, and I thought I'd share a few of them with you guys in case anyone wants to adopt them.
For example, here's one I've been starting my day with:
"With praise and thanksgiving, I set the riches of God before me this day to guide, govern, protect and prosper me. All things needful are now provided. My rich good
becomes visible this day!"
And here's one to end the day, before bed:
"Nothing but good can come into my life, for God is in charge."
