Hi, Amy here.
I just returned several days ago from our annual Freedom Fest event in Dallas.
Something that has been on my mind since the event, especially since I've been home from the event and reflecting on everything, is the importance of the way we show up in the world.
As a home-based business entrepreneur, I know that some people are turned off by our industry because of the people that are in it just for the money.
People that operate from that place definitely make our jobs a little more difficult, and so we need more people doing the work we do in the world from a place of integrity and for the right reasons.
I truly believe that the people that are in it for the wrong reasons will eventually fall away and the ones that are the difference makers will still be standing.
The people I surround myself with (and hopefully some of you reading this) are here to make the biggest impact. We are here to make a difference and to show people that things can be done differently.
We can be successful without hype or deceit, by showing up in a principle centered way, and by sharing and leading in a way that is honest and comes from a place of love.
We must realize that we are dealing with people's lives and people's dreams, and that's not something that should be taken lightly. And it's also not something that we should use to our advantage just to make a quick buck.
We can do things the right way, no matter
what. And by doing that, we can demonstrate to others that things can be done differently.
The world needs us. The industry needs us.
We are here to be the change we wish to see in the world.
And that all starts with the way that we show up on daily basis in our own lives, and for our families, and in the world
for the different communities that we are a part of, and then in our businesses and on the internet.
The way that we show up really matters. Even in the smallest ways, it matters.
