If you've been following
me any time at all, you've probably heard me talk about how the community that I'm a part of online helps provide meals every month to starving children.
It's really cool the way it works actually.
For each sale that we make (or each recurring commission that we generate), we get paid 80% commissions, and then the company takes a portion of the other 20% and donates it to an
organization called Feed My Starving Children.
We just received a voicemail from Jessica at Feed My Starving Children. In it, she was thanking us for contributing 13,365 meals over the last 2 months.
13,365 meals in 2 months. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.
That's pretty
spectacular, and it's definitely one of the things I'm most proud of in my life... to be a part of a community that is doing such big work in the world.
We are headed to Dallas next month to pack meals together again as a community, too. We did this once before in Phoenix and it was an amazing experience for all of us.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this with
you:
And if you want to hear the latest voicemail from Jessica, I just posted it on Facebook here (it's only 33 seconds long).
