It's been said that your email list is your biggest asset as a home based business entrepreneur. I would have to agree. 

It's great to build a following on social media, but the reality is that you don't own your social media accounts, which means: 

- your accounts can get shut down at any time 
- your accounts can get get hacked, causing you to lose access to them 
- the platforms can get shut down (or banned) 
- you are always at the mercy of the algorithm on each of the platforms, which determines who will or will not see your posts on any given day 

So, it's always a good idea to move people from your social media accounts over onto your email list. 

This will make it easy for you to stay in touch with your subscribers, follow up with them regarding the different things they asked for information about, and let them know about any offers that you have... without being subject to any algorithm!
