what is happiness? (my thoughts about this)

Hey, Amy here.

I was thinking about happiness the other day, and what it is, and how we can create it in our lives.

I ended up doing a little 8 second video about it...

The soundtrack says,

"I think happiness is about letting go of what you thought your life was supposed to be."

I believe this holds true in many areas in our lives.

In business/work, for example...

So many of us were raised on the idea that our life would be about:

-going to school
- getting good grades so we could get into a good college
- and then spending the rest of our life working for somebody else and building somebody else’s dream.

What if true success and happiness meant letting go of all of those ways that we thought our life would look, and creating a life of freedom for ourselves by building a business based on our own passions?

There are so many paths we can walk down these days, so many opportunities to make an income and build a business around the things that we love, with an unlimited earning potential.

It’s easier now than it ever has been before. The possibilities are endless.

You just have to be willing to let go of the way you thought your life was ‘supposed to’ be, based on an antiquated model that’s no longer even relevant.

I do believe that happiness is letting go of the way you thought your life was supposed to be, on many levels. Creating a life and a business by design is just one of the ways.

And, like I said, the good news is that it's literally easier than ever these days to build a business that brings you happiness (and potentially earns you more money than any 'job' too).

I've been marketing online for many years, and I've seen so many changes in the online marketing space over the years.

It's so much easier now than it used to be to make a good living on the internet by serving others with the things you are passionate about. And it just keeps getting easier.

That's one of the most beautiful things about marketing online... many of the strategies allow us to create content about the things we love that continues to work for us even when we aren't working (when we are sleeping or traveling or spending time with friends and family).

The freedom that is available is the main reason I'm so passionate about it, and why I'm so committed to helping others find their way to this type of freedom.
