Hey, Amy here.
We have a weekly mastermind inside of our online community called the 'What's Working Now' mastermind.
It's different than our daily 'Traffic & Conversions' masterminds because, on Monday nights. we showcase a different member of our community each week.
For the last 6 years or so, I have been helping out in the community by finding someone each week who has made sales in their business in the last 7 days, and asking them to come out and share with us exactly what they are doing to get results and what marketing strategies they are implementing.
Sometimes we have seasoned marketers who come out and share, but often times its
someone who literally just started making sales.
Even those of us that are seasoned marketers learn a ton from those who are starting from scratch, about the strategies that are working RIGHT NOW, in today's marketplace for people who are just starting out.
Yesterday, I reached out to a woman named Joy to see if she would be willing to come out and show us
what she's doing to make sales.
She's a fairly new member of our community and when she got back to me, here's what she said,
"I'm absolutely terrified of appearing on camera - so that probably means I should accept. Haha."
She also shared with me that it would be 1am in her time zone (she's in the UK), and she said she was still willing to do it.
I was so impressed by her willingness to get out of her comfort zone on multiple levels, just to serve our community.
And then last night she delivered an amazing training.
She shared with us how she was making sales using faceless videos that she creates with AI, because she's not comfortable being on camera.
So that was valuable in and of itself, but was was really cool was seeing how amazing she was on camera while she served our community.
People were commenting things like,
"You are a natural,"
"I love your energy."
"I love your accent."
"You are amazing."
And more.
So, by getting out of her comfort zone, she discovered that she is actually great on camera, and she gained belief in herself.
In fact, even though we told her she was welcome to jump off because we knew it was almost 2am in her timezone, she said she wanted to stay on.
And then when I sent her a message to thank her afterwards, she sent me this reply.
