So, last weekend I took my daughters and one of their friends to a cabin in the mountains for a 'girls weekend'.
We had an amazing time... and one really fun part about it was that I got to see my 15-year-old daughter making money while she was on vacation...
...similar to the way I have been doing for years, but she's doing something different, something she LOVES.
She's a fashion model... she recently signed with one of her top choices for agencies... and she will be traveling a lot once Covid dies down a bit.
This has been a dream of hers for a really long time, not just because she's tall and beautiful, but because she loves fashion.
She's an artist too... and I've watched her sketch out ideas for clothing and fashion that are mind blowing to me.
She has a gift... and it's just something she's very passionate about.
So, while we are waiting for the travel restrictions to be lifted so that she can start her modeling career, she started a little 'side hustle' selling clothes on an app called Depop.
She's amazing... she can literally walk into a thrift store and in about 15-20 minutes, she comes out with all of her 'finds'... things that she can turn around and sell on Depop for a huge profit.
She definitely has an eye for it... and she's really good at creating 'bundles' where she pairs a few items together to sell as a package... she even adds accessories, etc. These bundles are some of her top sellers and they have a huge profit margin.
She even models some of the items so that people can see what they look like on (and because she loves modeling!).
She makes hundreds of dollars every week doing this, and she has incredible reviews. She has sold well over 100 items already...
... and most of all, she LOVES doing it.
And she thinks it's fun that she makes more money than her boyfriend who works lots of hours every week at a restaurant.🙂
So, last weekend while we were enjoying our mountain getaway... we'd be walking around in the mountains or in the cool mountain town where we were staying and every so often my daughter would get a notification in her phone and she's say,
"I just made a sale!"
And then I'd get a notification on my phone from my business and I'd say,
"Me, too!"
And the best part was that neither of us was working... we were on vacation.
That is true FREEDOM.

... and he pointed out that so much is being done these days with medications, labeling of behavioral traits as somehow bad or distraction, schooling, standardized testing and more that does a lot to kill the dreamers early.
