Happy Memorial Day!

Memorial Day is always a very emotional day for
me... and today was no exception.

I ran a 10K race with my daughters... the BolderBoulder,
an awesome race that happens every Memorial Day.



It ends up in the stadium at the University of Colorado,
and we always stick around to watch the Memorial
Day ceremonies there, with 50,000 people...

It shakes me to my core, every single time.

(I'm putting together a video montage from today
that will be on my blog soon).

I stood there today with tears streaming down my face
as I watched the new military recruits take their
enlistment oath.

I cried as I watched 4 honored guests get recognized
today for all of their years of service in the military...

And I cried as I watched several parachuters come
down into the stadium... each representing a sect of
the military and one for the Prisoners of War.

The final parachute descended with a giant American
flag as patriotic music played... and I cried.

Memorial Day a day that always gets me so present
to freedom.

I feel so fortunate to live in such an amazing country,
one that has so much opportunity at out fingertips.

As I stood there beside my 2 amazing daughters in
that stadium today, I felt so much gratitude for the
lifestyle freedom that we have and for the fact that I
get to work at home and never miss a beat in my kids'
lives.

Memorial Day, for me, represents freedom...

And, as an entrepreneur, if you're anything like me
you've had days where you've wanted to quit.

But you won't quit because you have a burning desire
in you to create that freedom that 99% of people won't
ever get...

Simply because they aren't willing to do what it takes
to have it.

Those of us that ARE willing to do what it takes
know creating that freedom requires commitment,
compromise, investment in ourselves and our education,
finding the right mentor, etc.

Sometimes it requires doing the things you don't
necessarily want to do today so that you can live
a life of freedom tomorrow.

This has been my experience anyway.

And now that I have learned how to create that
freedom... for myself and my family... my purpose
is focused on helping others to be able to do the
same thing.

What's so awesome is that I got to watch this
weekend as those people who are willing to
commit, compromise, invest in themselves and
their education...

...the people that want that freedom so badly that
they are willing to invest 3 hours on a holiday
weekend to learn what they need to know to take
their businesses and their lives to the next level...

Poured onto a livestream I hosted (along with 3
other industry experts), to learn how to have that
freedom.

It's so inspiring, and truly an honor, to be able to
play even a small role in helping people to be able
to come home from jobs they don't like so they can
work from home and be with their families.

So, in case you're wondering, that's what I've been
up to. :)

I've been working hard, pouring my heart and
