Did you know that Amazon accounts for 47% of US eCommerce sales?
That’s insane. Especially when you consider that the 2nd largest eCommerce marketplace, eBay, only takes 6.1%. Followed by Walmart which collects just 4.6% of US eCom sales.
Amazon is an absolute beast as far as online marketplaces are concerned. Yet, a relatively small amount of people are focused on selling their products here.
Why is that?
Well… many of them are spending countless dollars advertising on other platforms. They mistakenly think that because Amazon is such a giant, it’s too hard to compete.
Meanwhile, you’ve got others like my friend, Rachel Rofe, who are earning $400,000 in ORGANIC sales. She’s simply capitalizing on the massive amount of traffic that floods Amazon every single day. She's what I like to call an opportunist. :)
