This changed my whole weekend...

Day here in the US, it's a time when we
remember the brave men and women
that help keep our country safe.

I love Memorial Day weekend...
 
 
It's a time of year when I celebrate my
own life.
 
 
The reason is because my birthday (which is
on the 29th) often falls on Memorial Day
weekend. And, no matter what, it always falls
near it...
 
 
So this is the time of year I celebrate
my life with my friends and family. :)
 
 
So... last night I went to a bbq/jam session with
a whole bunch of my friends, and this morning
I went on an awesome run in the mountains. 
 
 
As usual, on my run, I listened to an Empower
Network Inner Circle audio on my iPod to help
get me into an amazing mindset for the weekend. 
 
 
(I LOVE those audios... they are the biggest
reason for the huge shift I have seen in my life
over the last year... no question about it.)
 
 
Anyway, now I'm heading out to meet some
friends at the Farmer's Market and then head
to the Boulder Creek Festival... an AWESOME
festival that we go to every year over Memorial
Day weekend. 
 
 
But I wanted to share something with
you that has really made a difference for
me this weekend.
 
 
When I came home from my run this morning,
there was a package at my house from one of
my Empower Network team members (she lives
in Costa Rica).
 
 
It had brownies inside of it and this card:
 
 
 
 
 
I cried the minute I read it... because it's
times like this that remind me that I am on
the right path and that I'm making a difference
in the world.
 
 
This card really touched me...
 
(and, as we all know, it's actually rare in this
day and age to even receive REAL mail
anymore...especially from another country.
Thanks so much, Norma!).
 
 
So, although the weekend is just kicking off,
I'm already complete...
 
 
I know I'm in the right place at the
right time, and I'm so grateful.
