Sometimes it's hard for me to believe
how much our lives (mine and my 2
daughters') have changed in such a short
period of time.
 
A couple of days ago I took my girls
shopping for new shoes.
 
It brought tears to my eyes to see how
excited they were when they got to pick
out shoes that they LOVE.

 
 
 
(Ava has been showing this high-tops to
EVERYONE... and wearing them
constantly. It totally lights me up!).
 
Because not that long ago, we were buying
our shoes at thrift stores and having to settle
for whatever was in our size.
 
NOT kidding.
