The importance of FAMILY (and an inside peek at ours)...

Hey, Amy here...
I hope you had a great weekend...
I did!
Had a lot of fun around town with my
kids and my good friend and business
partner, Jordan...
including a really fun trip to the Denver
Aquarium yesterday...
(my aunt and uncle and cousin - and his
kids- were in town who I haven't seen in
YEARS... and we went down to hang out
with them).
All of this got me to thinking about
FAMILY.
My kids and I were talking the other day
about Christmas as Jordan was on his way
to visit us.
We realized that just 1 year ago on Christmas,
we hadn't even met Jordan yet...
And now he's like part of our family.
(Jordan and I met in person for the first
time at a live event in Austin, Texas this
past January).
So, in less than a year, we've:
- worked together,
- traveled to Hawaii together,
- masterminded regularly,
- gone to concerts together,
- hung out at events every 90 days with
our team,
and have just had a TON of fun.
This is true for Chris, and Paula, and
Ali, and Juan (who calls me 'mom'- lol),
and lots of our other team members as well...
Although we haven't known each other for
very long, we are like family.
And, although I have real family members
that I only get to see every few years
(like my aunt and uncle that I mentioned
above)...
this Team BTC (short for Be the Change)
family connects daily.
The bond is tight...
The love is beyond measure...
...and it's amazing to be a part of a 'family'
who is always there for you and always has
your back.
It's fun when the 2 worlds collide, too...
Like when Chris and Jordan come over
and have dinner with my dad, or when
Jordan comes to the aquarium with my
aunt and uncle, etc.
I consider my team family... in
every sense of the word.
I could go on and on about this...
But really I just wanted to share this with
you today since it is the holiday season and
I'm so present to my gratitude for my
'extended' family, my BTC family, right now.
