Merry Christmas (I'm laid up!)...

Published: Tue, 12/24/13

Hi, Amy here...

I wanted to send you a message to
wish you a Merry Christmas.

And, if you don't celebrate Christmas,
I want to wish you the happiest of
holidays... whichever ones you prefer.

And, yes, it's true, I'm laid up for
Christmas this year...

I got injured in my crossfit class this
morning... I sprained my ankle!

The coaches were awesome... they took
amazing care of me when it happened...

and my amazing friends, my awesome
neighbor, and my kids have been waiting
on me hand and foot.

I'm definitely feeling the love and am so
grateful.

The good news is that I finally mastered
the rope climb today.

The bad news is that I have not mastered the
art of getting down from way up there. :)

When I went to get my kids out of the
childcare, this cute little boy said,

"That's okay, you just need to get a
new leg."

Maybe Santa will bring me one.  :)
Too funny.

And, on another note...

As many of us rush around trying to finish
the last errands before Christmas tomorrow,

I've been thinking about the less fortunate
people who are more than likely not in
celebration mode right now.

I decided to learn this song today...

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs.
Considering I just learned it on my guitar
today, it's super raw and vulnerable, but I
wanted to share it with you anyway.

My heart goes out into the world tonight...
in the spirit of Christmas.

Here's to you...

Regardless of what your situation is this
Christmas...

I'm sending you lots of love, and laughter,
and joy.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and
the happiest of holidays.

In Massive Love & Gratitude,

xo-Amy
